Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year, also widely known as Lunar New Year is an annual 15-day festival in China and in Chinese communities around the world. The celebration begins with the new moon that occurs sometime between January 21 and February 20. In 2020, Year of the Rat, Chinese New Year begins on January 25 and in 2021, Year of the Ox, it will begin on February 12. Each year is associated with an animal that cycles every 12 years.
